PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: 4 FUNCTIONS IN 1
Smart Tool VulkanLOC® is a basic and essential tool for working with the VulkanLOC® overdenture retention system, both in the dental clinic and in the dental laboratory.
1. IN TIP
Designed for the insertion of retainers into the metal housing. With a retentive area to prevent the retainers from falling out. "IN" indicator for easy selection of use.
2. OUT TIP
Allows controlled removal of retainers from the metal housing. "OUT" indicator for easy selection of use.
3. RETAINER STORAGE
Designed for controlled removal of retainers trapped in the "out" tip of the key and separate them from the new ones. Prevents extracted retainers from overdenture mixing with new ones.
4. VULKANLOC® PILAR TRANSPORTER
Designed to transport VulkanLoc® pillars and manually screw them into the model or mouth. The triangular connection design is retentive to prevent the loss or falling of the pillar.

Direct Key for Screwing VulkanLoc® Abutments with Motor Contra-Angle or U4 Torque Wrench.
The design of these keys allows for the safe transport of VulkanLoc® abutments without the risk of dropping or losing them.
Essential for controlled tightening of abutments on the model (15Ncm) and in the mouth (35Ncm).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1 - “IN” TIP
The 'IN' tip is inserted into the required retainer. Its two micro-lobes hold the retainers during transport to the metal capsule without damaging their internal geometry. Once inserted into the capsule, the tip will be easily removed, leaving the retainer housed.
2 - “OUT” TIP
The 'OUT' tip is inserted into the retainer inserted in the capsule. Once inserted, its anchoring geometry is embedded inside the retainer, allowing its extraction with a lever-like effort outwards. Its use includes the extraction of black processing retainers and the replacement of standard and divergent retainers.
3 –CONTROLLED EXTRACTION
Using the disassembled key in its two parts, proceed with the controlled extraction of the retainer (fig.1). The oval cavity of the "IN" piece should be laterally coupled to the plane of the "OUT" tip (fig. 2). By leveraging force, the retainers will release from the key's anchor, lodging into the interior cavity of the oval (fig. 3). Thus, the deteriorated retainers are controlled and separated from the new ones. Simply place the oval face down and with a slight axial movement, the retainers will come out of their housing for disposal (fig. 4).
4 – PILAR TRANSPORTER
The posterior area of the "OUT" tip offers the option to manually transport and screw VulkanLoc® pillars onto analogs and/or implants located in the gum area of the incisors. The pillar connection directly provides retention, preventing its dislodgement during use.
